We booked a private tour for ourselves and our teenage daughter, and Ruairi was exceptional. He gave us a fascinating overview of Irish history as we walked through the city, with particular insight into The Troubles and his own experience growing up in Derry during that time. He was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and patient, and had a wonderful way of making a complex history engaging and accessible for all of us. He was also happy to answer all of our questions along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and came away with a much greater understanding of both Derry and Irish history.
